Anne-Marie's background as an advertising account executive laid the foundation for her transition into career management. It was while working for Brooklyn’s largest newspaper publisher, Courier Life Publications, that she attended workshops with business gurus such as Zig Ziegler, Brian Tracy and Tony Robbins and was first introduced to motivational concepts. Having experienced first hand the profound benefits of investing both in her personal and professional life, she decided to share this knowledge with others.

In 1999, Anne-Marie was selected by Good Shepherd Services to assist displaced homemakers in reentering the job market. She led workshops in Pre-Employment Steps, Telephone Techniques, Interviewing Skills and Workplace Etiquette and provided individual career counseling and résumé development. Within less than a year, she had helped over 70 women become employed and was honored as service cabinet representative to the Training and Employment Council of Brooklyn. During this time friends and colleagues began seeking her expertise with their own career transitions and résumé development.

Not one for half measures, Anne-Marie dived into the the coaching industry and joined Career Masters Institute and the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches where she earned certifications as a Certified Professional Résumé Writer and Certified Employment Interview Professional. She graduated in the top percentile from Career Coach Academy, where she became a Certified Career Management Coach. Anne-Marie also hosts networking events for Networking for Professionals and is a member of the Westchester Business Council.

Anne-Marie's writing has been published in 202 Great Resumes, 101 Best Resumes for Grads, Expert Resumes for Health Care Careers, Cover Letter Magic and Designing the Perfect Resume Anne-Marie has also been profiled in Women and Business Magazine.

Anne-Marie serves on the Executive Board of the National Resume Writers Association as First Vice President, and will be a featured speaker at the fall 2006 NRWA Conference.  In 2006, Anne-Marie discussed Effective Resume Writing on Enhance Your Chance: A Guide to Maximizing Your Possibilities, a television show broadcast across Westchester County, NY.

Since launching First Impressions Career Services, LLC, Anne-Marie has been successful in helping professionals advance their careers in the fields of nursing, medicine, education, finance, technology, hospitality, theatre, sales and marketing. She has led workshops at colleges, libraries and community organizations in Online Job Search Techniques, Résumé Writing for the New Millennium, and Successful Career Transition Strategies.
